Shopping without mask

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Up until recently I have had no problems shopping at Sprouts without a mask. Twice now I have been approached and told that they can shop for me or I have to order curbside and that I cant shop because of their new requirements. Even after telling them I have a health condition, more than once, and showing them Gov. Newsoms mandate with the exemption list, they still proceeded to harass me and wouldnt let me shop without a mask. I do the majority of my shopping there and have always felt welcomed until now.

Being harassed, intimidated and discriminated against because I cannot wear a mask.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The manager, George threatened me at my local store In Monrovia. I assured him of my civil rights, promised to maintain distance from others and explained I shopped just a few days prior at this store. He was rude, called the police who did not confront me as I left the store. I contacted the sergeant at my local precinct who told me I handled the situation correctly.

  • Fresh food at reasonable prices

  • Horrible attitude and contempt for their customers

Preferred solution: Offer hours for customers and employees who need to shop maskless and free from discriminating interference.

User's recommendation: Please assure your local store you are taking care of your own health and safety,

Anyone who claims to not be healthy enough to be able to wear a simple little mask, for only a few mins, is NOT the person who should be elected to do the family shopping.

Anyone so fearful of coming in contact with someone not wearing a mask, should stay home. Your fears do not trump my rights!!

Bias Rules

The mandatory mask mandate is bias. This is controversial. We should have the right to shop without masks. I agree with having maskless shopping hours. Its only fair. This whole technocratic philosophy has gone too far. The problem with putting scientific experts in unquestionable power is that their power can be abused. How do you account for that? There are many doctors/experts who say that asymptomatic spread of covid is not proven. Sweden a whole country their top health officials say masks are useless. Are they wrong? Why because they are Swedish? We have a right to our own opinion and to live our lives as we see fit. We should have our own maskless shopping time too. Who would we be harming it would all be voluntary. For God sake stop acting like Fauci and Berks are Gods. They are humans. Congratulations Sprouts you have joined the technocratic cult. They are going to suck the life out of you for their gain and your detriment. Keep living in paranoid fear and give up your entire being to the technocratic gods. Please take under consideration how extreme and discriminating you have become. See you in court.

Not going to happen... Masks are, primarily, to PROTECT THEIR WORKERS and other shoppers from the asymptomatic, but Covid-19 positive, shoppers.

Masks trap Covid-19 particles on the mask as opposed to letting them go straight into the air, where they can infect the workers and other shoppers. They'd be opening themselves up to a MASSIVE LABOR LAWSUIT if their workers contracted Covid-19 and it could be reasonably deemed that it was because they had mask-free shopping days. It's NOT hard to wear a mask!

It is VERY HARD to lose a loved one to a PREVENTABLE illness, where the family can't even be permitted access to the dying person while they suffer, and pass away!! So, cut it out with your ill-advised 'fairness argument' and just cooperate with the efforts to stop the spread of Covd-19.

Masks Do NOTHING GOOD! They increase the level of Co2 in the body to harmful levels and deprive the body of 19% Oxygen in a few seconds.

They will not stop the virus. Five groups that say Masks are no good: OSHA, CDC, Surgeon General of the US, Association of Physicians and Surgeons and Dr.

Russell Blaylocke. I am sure that there are many more who are opposed to the Useless Masks!

Mask Wearing

I don't agree with the lady who says masks protect other people. SHE SHOULD READ THE WARNING ON THE MASK BOX.

It clearly states "DOES NOT ELIMINATE THE RISK OF CONTRACTING ANY DISEASE OR INFECTION". So why is she wearing it!

Even the CDC and OSHA say masks don't work. People wearing masks are slowing poisoning themselves and destroying their immune systems.

Guest

It's NOT discrimination. Businesses have the LEGAL RIGHT to refuse to serve anyone who is won't comply with their rules.

Especially when the violation of their rules is reasonably deemed to be putting others at risk. I'm elderly and have COPD. A mask is uncomfortable, but It does not interfere with my oxygen machine at all. You CAN wear a mask you just don't want to.

Also, you need to consider the front-line employees' health risk. They deserve to be protected.

A store policy cannot supersede law. A governor cannot make a law.

The CDC recommended mask wearing, they didn't go through the legal process to make it a law. So it is discrimination to let some people enter the store, and not others.

I was unlawfully discriminated against

The manager came charging up to me screaming that I wasn’t nt allowed to shop in the store without a mask. I calmly explained that I have a medical condition & I am an exception to Hillsborough county mask orders & that I always social distance while in any store. He wasn't hearing any of it. I told him about the orders & what they said. He didn't care, he was showing me a corporate letter. He told me they wouldn't check me out if I did bring any products up to a cashier. I called the sheriffs office for him harassing me & the manager insisted to the deputy on a trespass order against me. The deputy did not know what the county orders said & gave him a trespass violation against me. Unbelievable! I WILL NEVER SHOP IN ANY SPROUTS THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Cons:
  • Will not let people without masks shop at their store
  • Discriminate against those not able to wear masks
  • Mask discrimination and bullying

Preferred solution: I am seeking legal representation in the above matter because it is way worse than what I described above.i felt threats by the tall, broad man yelling at me & charging up to me like I was a criminal.

Deceptive advertisement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Received email from Sprouts stating the organization was sorry I was inconvenienced. Doesn't cut it with any organization I know. Spent 30 minutes buying and returning vitamins when I saw I did not receive the 20% discount for week of 10/21-10/27. Checker told me I needed to show app or printout from Smart Phone. That's not what your store one week discount sign says. What if customer is old and does not have Smart Phone! You are not Amazon and that is not the way I and many others like to purchase in-store merchandise. I was hoping for a coupon here or in the US mail to compensate this elderly, loyal Sprouts customer for the hassle you caused.

By refusing to wear a mask you are committing a BIO-ASSAULT against the public. Please, CEASE and DESIST the whole righteous act. Requiring that all customers wear a mask to shop is little more than a temporary addition to the ''No Shirt; No Shoes; No Service'' rule.

Covid Nazi's and Sheep Employees

They are not allowing customers to shop without a mask in Las Vegas even if they are medically exempt. They are simply following orders and writing up their employees who don't enforce them including making them tell customers that their masks need to cover their mouth and nose.

We are headed into tyranny especially when companies like this follow suit without asking questions.

They are violating the ADA Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, that requires that you make reasonable accommodation to those with disabilities that could include numerous medical disabilities that could prevent people from wearing masks, such as, but not limited to, the following: asthma, allergies, anemia, chronic migraines, fungal infections, blood clotting disorders, diabetes, PTSD, autism, pre existing lung problems, “being a human”, and needing to meet basic OSHA air quality requirements of more then 19.5% oxygen, and less then 400 parts per million CO2.

Masks have been shown to reduce oxygen to 18% and increase CO2 to over 10,000 ppm.

I will no longer shop here unless the harassment stops. It's not too late to do the right thing.

Ummm I'm sorry if I wasn't clear but that is the plan...Oh and also, you should turn off the TV. It's clearly confusing you and has somehow convinced you that "Karen's" are the one's fighting for freedom and questioning the narrative when the real Karen's are the one's who believe what the government and TV tell them.

I bet you are someone who says wearing a mask protects your health, but yet in a few months will voluntarily sign up to be injected with a vaccine that contains the virus which, if you research, will alter your DNA. I bet you are also someone who went out and hoarded TP, but now are saying "we're in this together, wear a mask to protect ME". Since when has it ever been about us?

They don't care about us. I truly hope you and all the other zzzzombies wake up before we are forced into communism and create more Karen's among us.

Treated badly

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Cannot wear a mask completely up over my nose as I can't breathe due to a medical condition. I came in with mask on but not over nose and proceeded to check out with only 2 items.

The checker disappeared and a tall man with dark hair confronted my severely and demanded I put my mask fully on. I explained my medical concern and asked him to please just check me out with my 2 things and I would leave. He refused and was very unpleasant. I was on my way somewhere so had to comply.

I am very very upset. See this video addressed to Sprouts
