Ignorant Manager at Warm Springs, Henderson store..Zero customer service !

We spoke to the apathetic manager whose dismissive attitude was only surpassed by his ignorance of the chain's current promotion for Thanksgiving..The dolt didn't even know that the turkeys were prepaid online and NOT paid for at pick-up time. Instead of courteously advising us that he would do his best to get a very simple answer for us, to a very specific question, he rushed us off the phone and told us to drive by and he would take a look at it ! In other words, 'Don't bother me" ! Wow, impressive management/customer service indeed !!

very unhappy with service at 3rd street chula vista sprouts. no price on outside flowers so i went in and asked. cashier said she would have the price put out. noticed $expensive cinderina pumpkins were mismarked to 79 cents and the cold coconuts in said the sign and watermelon was inside. i again found someone and expressed my concern about the 3 things. he said he would take care of it. when i left 45 minutes later nothing had changed. i once again asked cashier how much bouet of flowers were and she said 'what kind' and i said i would like to know all the prices she frowned at me and turned away. we love our sprouts but they are in a hurry and have bad attitudes marianne seefeldt

$0.99 problem---prove you are right--manager gets revenge--I am a terminal cancer patient

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

What I sent to their CS

FIRST OFF--LET BRING THE POINT I WAS WEARING FULL FACE MASK AND GLOVES--HINT--I AM SICK--CHEMO--I HAVE TERMINAL PANCREAS CANCER--100% TRUE----IT WILL LOOK GREAT AND SEEM TO HAVE MUCH GRAVITAS ON THE NET WHEN I POST MY EXPERIENCE TODAY---I have been going to Sprouts ever since the opening and before chemo--great service and prices----very happy until today and the (***) woman I was told was manager on duty (4PM Saturday 8/20).

THIS IS OVER $0.99 not a big amount and I usually spend between $60-$80 weekly for my family and myself in this store

I bought two mineral waters--2-for $3.00---"exact same brand and OZ's" one I was charged $1.50 and the other $2.49 were I saw the receipt--my wife paid--(I check because I have noticed the odd mistake on sales items before in your store) So I went to the same register and asked for refund--again $0.99 --First I was told I bought different brands---WRONG--I offered to walk back and prove it--no---then I was told they had different bottles one glass one plastic---without them going back to check---I ASSURE YOU THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME--WITH TITLE CLASSIC MINERAL WATER AND MIXED IN SAME DISPLAY TOGETHER.

SHE RELENTED AND OFFERED REFUND--"BUT IT SEEMS OUT OF SPITE" TOLD ME TO GO TO THE END OF LINE---CANCER PATIENT???--MASK AND GLOVES??? 8 TO MAYBE 12 WERE IN LINE--MY WIFE AND SON IN CAR--I ASKED ARE YOU SERIOUS???????????? END OF LINE FOR $0.99??

IF I DON'T GET A WRITTEN APOLOGY VERY QUICKLY--OR TOLD SHE WAS SUSPENDED---SEE OW MANY POSTS ON INTERNET SITES--NOTE--I NO LONGER CAN WORK AS STEEL COMPANY MANAGER--I AM AT HOME EXCEPT ON HOSPITAL DAYS WHEN I BRING MY LAPTOP FOR MY 8 HR CHEMO SESSIONS--- SO LOTS OF TIME TO POST--- I CAN MAKE ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT "TERMINAL CANCER PATIENTS" WHEN THEY ARE WEARING MASKS AND GLOVES--MAYBE SHE DIDN'T KNOW I WAS DYING--BUT I OBVIOUSLY HAD MEDICAL ISSUES AND GOING 10 DEEP WOULD HAVE ME STANDING IN LINE FOR 15- 20 MINUTES---"IT WAS OUT OF SPITE" -----BUT NOTE I WAS 100% CORRECT

If you can't tell the difference between glass and plastic by picking them up even if they're in the same display then cancer is the least of your worries

Guest

It's unfortunate that you're a cancer patient, but that doesn't necessarily entitle you to special treatment when out in public.

If you're able to go into a store, walk around, and do that much complaining about the price of bottled water, then you seem quite capable of waiting in line like everybody else instead of expecting 'special treatment' because you're a cancer patient.

Guest

Did you escape from the loony bin? You obviously aren't that bad off if your masked and gloved self is able to go into a store and throw a tantrum over 99 cents.

Furthermore, your tantrum throwing ability implies you are plenty well to wait your turn in line just like everyone else. So get a grip and stop making a fool of yourself!

Sprouts Farmers Market - Manager Review from Wikieup, Arizona

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Well, it happened again! I'm at Sprouts, bought some moon drop grapes that were tagged 2lbs for 3.00... Manager then told me that he would let me have them for that price since they were supposed to be marked at 3.99lb.. He then instructed Sandy who was changing the tag to honor the old offer.. I asked her if i needed to take the upc code, she said no, since the change wasn't in the system yet..Got to the register, Abel(manager) would not take my word for it, called a guy over who witnessed the offer, Abel still would not take HIS word for it, called the girl Sandy who was instructed by the produce manager to give me the old price..Only then would Abel accept our word, he was not even able to make adjustments on his register, by the way, i had already told him about the offer and he went ahead and charged me the price of 3.99 per pound, so someone had to void everything and make the adjustment!! I'm so SICK of the management at this store, sadly, its the only one available in my side of town!!!!!! Seems that almost every time i come here i get frustrated and annoyed by terrible managerial skills, ughhh!

Your staff/meat department

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Store 59th ave. and Peoria, Glendale Arizona! 7:30 am. on September 25th, 2016. Let me start by saying your staff really ruined my day! I went to the meat dept.. Just before I asked for my chicken Ki-bobs. I watched your butcher boy blow his nose re-peat ably not paying attention to me watching. He turned quick and asked if he could help me. He was about to get what I asked for, I replied are you going to wash your hands after blowing your nose...... He caught some major attitude and started acting like a "***"!!!!!!! I surely made a mistake by going bye Walmart neighbor hood market for my needs. Let me start off by telling you how vile that was and still stuck in my mind!!!!!!!I want nothing from Sprouts but a Apology!!!!!!I work really hard for my money in this market, I would appreciate the thought of me shopping at a higher priced store than Walmart and others....... This is what I received from your staff and store....... I am only one who speaks up, how many other people have eaten this kids boogers or *** from under his finger nails, "because" he can't wash his hands'. I would greatly appreciate a apology....... This now leads me to "what" source of food I buy from. On another note, I think your produce is suffering!!!!!!! When the store first opened people were courteous to the customer, store was clean.......... Now!!!!!! Well let me tell you, I would rather "Rim my dogs ***" before shopping at Sprouts again........Thank you for your time!!!!!!!!! By the way, Thanks for ruining my Sunday night dinner for me.........I truly hope reads this cares more than your other employ did!!!!!!!!!!!

Sprouts Farmers Market - Produce Department Review

Today 11/10/16 at store #503 at 635 S. Valley Pkwy. Las Vegas I noticed an employee stocking the bulk dried fruit bins with dried fruits that were prepacked in plastic tubs that were labeled and had expiration dates. I brought up what I saw to manager Carlos who told me that they were products that had gone off sale and they were restocking them into the bulk bin display. . I questioned the procedure that the products were in plastic tubs, labeled and dated, with an expiration date and that they were being taken out of their original container and being restocked into the bulk bins. He reassured me that nothing wrong was going on and that the employee was also logging down whatever containers that were being restocked. I also noticed that the employee was wearing plastic sanitation gloves but was handling the products that she took out of the container and handling the scan gun at the same time. I did not feel comfortable with Carlo's explanation and feel it may be a deceptive practice so this is why I'm reporting this incident.

Lamb Meat

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

For several times already I have noticed the lamb meat for sale at your Elk Grove Store, is labelled 'halal' compliant. This means that the product has been prepared according to Muslim Sharia Law.

I don't have a problem with Muslim customers wanting to buy product processed according to their peculiar beliefs. However, I object to not having, as a non-Muslim, the option to buy 'non-halal' Lamb meat. Please address the issue for me and every non-Muslim customer who would like to have the alternative to purchase non-halal meat. I don't want to be coerced into buying any product processed according to sharia law.

Before I go to social media and begin to disseminate this issue for everyone to be aware of what is happening, surreptitiously in our grocery stores, please address this matter with fairness to the non-Muslims customers.

I don't want to be made feel like Sharia Law, in meat products, in particular, is being imposed on non-Muslims through the ignorance, negligence or carelessness of grocery retail chains like yours. Thank you.

Comments from Jalil is incorrect and foolish! It can be said this is to give "halal" a bad name. It is very easy to educate yourself why harm others if you chose to be ____________ (fill in the blank).

Guest

Greetings, is the lamb labeled from "New Zealand" halal? This is a great news if this can be confirmed! Our Granada Hills, (91344) Sprouts is wonderful and if a statement confirming the lamb is "Halal" makes this an historic first if one or any of the local markets offers lamb labeled "Halal."Thanks "Sprouts"Potentially happier customer

Guest

Halal meat animals are killed slowly and painfully while the priest recites a prayer. I grew up watching this procedure, called jabba.

They take a knife and slowly drain the blood from a animal's neck. You have to see it to believe it.

Its a horror show. Halal is cruelty to animal, look it up.

Jalil is entirely incorrect.

Lmbo. Jalil, bro.

You are extremely misinformed. The kill is quick.

The animal is raised healthily. Absolutely no priest involved.

Guest

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Halal simply means it was humanely killed and hygienic, etc.

It's just a guarantee, it's not like they do some special voodoo to it. In fact in order for it to be NOT halal, they'd have to strangle the lamb to death or something. In other words it IS halal, EVEN IF IT DOESN'T SAY SO.I mean, I'm sorry, but you are just next level ignorant/dumb.

And BTW I am definitely NOT Muslim, I'm just not a stupid idiot like you. It's called college, you need some.

Guest

OMG-you are wrong!! JALIL is absolutely correct in the process!! Also if you buy HALAL you are supporting ISLAM by the tax they get that you pay!!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1464373

What on Earth are you talking about, that you are supporting Islam because they get the tax you pay on meat??? Whether it's Halal meat or not the taxes you pay go to the same place.

Islam doesn't get a tax kickback because you bought halal meat.

It's a method of preparation, period. It doesn't mean the meat is being sold by a Muslim vendor.

Guest

So, you DONT want lamb that was prepared in the most clean and humane environment possible, with strict laws that prohibit causing the animal pain or feeding it unhealthy food during its lifetime? You'd prefer an animal to go through a painful death rather than a quick instant kill?

Which part of Halal are you offended by? Did you bother to read up on it first?

Guest

The ignorance of the stores?? You should worry about your own ignorance. Wow.

Where do I go from here. Fall and they act like it never hapopened.

Sprouts in Littleton Colorado.

I went to get nuts and ended up getting a couple thing. I got in to line and the person checking out asked me for the number for the nuts.

i for got to tag them. I walked back because he was to lazy to. When I was walking back to the register, I did not notice there was water on the floor by the flowers and I slipped and fell. The manager happen to be watching me right as I fell.

He came over looked on the ground. Ok um are you going to help me up. No he did not offer help at all. I am handicap and no help.

So I made my way up and stood there as the manager was still looking at the floor. He asks what did I fall on so i look at the floor and there is small puddles of water. I also put my hand on my butt and my butt was wet. So I told the manager that there is water there is water and he says I don't see any water.

I am clearly pointing the water out and I even told him to look at my *** because there is water on my ***. He walked back to the register and finished my order. He asked are you ok I said no I hurt. He hands me a paper and pen and asks me to write down my name address and number.

So I do I asked can I speak to the manager and he said he was the manager and he started to ring up the next person. As he handed me my 2 bags. I said so what happens now he said he would call and never did. I called the main number I called the 1800 number I called the store no one would talk to me.

The next day I call the store and one lady said she will check in to it. I hear nothing till the next day when she calls and asks me what time was it so she can look at the footage. really u cant look it up. Then she says she cant find the footage.

wow.

So I guess because I had to go to the hospital I need to see my next steps. They have not called nothing

Chicken meat is very large (Breast, thighs) and spoils quickly.

I have bought meat many times at Sprouts and I find the chicken is abnormally large appearing GMO. The meat has spoiled quickly smelling sour within two days and had to be returned to store.

The meat is not labeled to be nonGMO as is many other products bought at this store. We have a right to know if we are eating genetically modified meat. This meat spoils quickly within 2 days of purchase date. Meat has been returned to the store and money returned.

I will no longer buy meat at this store and I go there once a week. Big turn over in staff. Recently I was rang up by possibly ESL and my receipt had three mistakes of over charging. I am a medical professional that applied to work (interested in vitamin area) and was not hired.

I was born in this country and can't get a job at this store although they have hiring signs on the glass doors.

Is that 100 words?

Spoiled St Louis Style Ribs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought raw pork ribs on 7/19 from the meat section at the Claremont Store in California. Today on 7/20 I opened up the package to put them in the crock pot.

They stunk so bad that I gagged and almost vomited. Needless to say I had to take them back to the Claremont store. The store manager acted as if I was bothering him and when I asked why the butchers could not smell how bad this meat smelled when they packaged it, he did not respond. He stayed quiet while he processed the refund on the register, handed me the money and forced himself to say "so sorry about this".

When a customer has to be an item back, it wastes their time and when the store does not even act like it deserves a sincere apology it shows the management of Sprouts does not value their customers. I shop here every week and left the store today not wanting to shop here anymore. Feel free to contact me if you want documentation of this transaction.

I have the receipts. Mary Henderson
